q|co

q|co is a Colorado-based design and manufacturing house specializing in the production of high-end furniture, lighting and object designs.

As a company, we aspire to:

Create beautiful, enduring design without depleting the earth’s resources

Infuse the built environment with the sense of wonder and curiosity often experienced in natural scapes

Foster sustainable careers for local artists, designers, craftsmen and manufacturers

Employ strategic product/product life-cycle design to promote social and environmental well-being

Inquire Within

q|co was born from the spirit of inquiry and is structured to advance individual design within a collaborative environment.

Designers work alongside each other—sharing resources and ideas to efficiently move designs from concept to reality.

Together, we aim to propel the design conversation forward by continuously asking questions of ourselves, our designs, and our intentions as q|co.

Elish Warlop.png

Elish Warlop

Designer
Elish is a Brooklyn-based lighting and furniture designer who's work explores the paradox of motion within stillness. Her beginnings in architecture, construction management and jewelry design allow her to work across scales, creating ethereal forms that are simple and dynamic in equal parts. Elish holds a BA in Architecture from Cornell University and an MFA in Furniture Design from RISD.

Laura Kishimoto by Matthew Staver.JPG

Laura Kishimoto

Designer
A graduate of RISD, Laura was initially drawn to furniture because of its unique ability to exist as both product and sculptural object, both design and fine art. Her pieces extend simple forms into ornate repetitions, creating sinuous, often mesmerizing compositions that, in the artists words, "appear to have formed without human intervention."
